Meet Our Team Leader
Our Expertise
Divo Equestrian boasts a team of seasoned professionals led by Sandy Bruss, a highly experienced equestrian with over 45 years in the industry. Sandy's expertise lies in teaching , training and identifying lameness issues. She has owned and operated three different boarding and training facilities over those 45 years. One of those facilities hosted a "Ride a Rescue Horse" Experience where over 4000 guests from 21 different countries came and enjoyed a hands on experience with the rehabilitated rescue horses. During this fourteen year period 60 horses were rescued and retrained to a level of safety that all could enjoy. Sandy also owned a non-profit riding facility. Her client list consisted of "at risk " youths under the age of 16. The success of this program grew to 55 students and later expanded into a lesson facility for displaced women over the age of 60. While busy, She remained active in her own Dressage journey. As a longstanding member of USDF and USEF, she holds a Diamond USDF University Diploma and has garnered numerous year-end awards. She is also a participant in the USDF Professional Development Program and continues to work with top professionals.
